Video translation · 7 languages

One video, seven languages, no reshoot.

We take a finished video and rebuild it in other languages, translated, voiced, re-timed and captioned, so the picture still fits the words. Not subtitles bolted on top. Complete versions you can publish.

We translate finished video into other languages and deliver complete, publishable versions. Every language gets its own voiceover, its own caption file, and a picture edit re-timed to fit, because a translated script is almost never the same length as the English one. You get a captioned version and a clean version of each.

The most recent run was for Barnet Homes: 2 signed-off videos rebuilt in Arabic, Bengali, Farsi, Pashto, Spanish, Tamil and Urdu. That is 14 language versions, delivered as 28 files across captioned and clean variants, audited at 1080p30 and -16 LUFS.

Subtitles are not a translation.

Dropping a subtitle track on an English video leaves everyone reading instead of watching, and it leaves the voiceover in a language they do not speak. The video still is not theirs.

A translated script runs longer or shorter than the English. Arabic and Spanish ran nearly 2 minutes longer than a 3 minute 51 second English master on the Barnet job. So we re-time the picture to the new voice, hold on the right frames, keep the music bed underneath, and burn captions that match. That is the difference between a translation and a subtitle file.

  • A real voiceover, not a subtitleEach language gets its own voice track, loudness-matched to your English master.
  • Picture re-timed to fitTranslated scripts run longer. We re-time the edit and hold on stable frames, never mid-transition.
  • Your music bed keptThe original mix is separated so the music stays underneath the new voice.
  • Captions burned and checkedEvery caption line verified frame by frame before delivery.
  • Captioned and clean versionsTwo files per language, so you can publish wherever you need to.
  • Native review before you publishEvery translation is a draft until a human signs it off. We build that into the quote.

How it works

From one master to every version.

01

Transcribe

We pull an exact transcript off your finished video, so the translation works from what was actually said, not from an old script.

02

Translate

Line by line, keeping button labels and product names in English where a viewer will see them on screen in English.

03

Voice

A voiceover per language, loudness-matched to broadcast standard so it sits at the same level as your English master.

04

Re-conform

The picture is re-timed to the new voice, holding on stable frames rather than freezing mid-transition, with the music bed recovered and laid back underneath.

05

Caption and check

Captions burned in, then every caption line and every hold is checked frame by frame before anything ships.

I built this pipeline because a client needed 7 languages and quotes were coming back in weeks and thousands. We did the first full pass in a day. What I will not do is pretend the machine is the whole job: every translation we deliver is a draft until a native speaker has read it, and on two of those languages I recommended a human voice rather than a synthetic one. That honesty is the service.

Who this is for

When your audience does not read English first.

Councils and housing associations with a duty to reach every resident. Franchises rolling one piece of training out across territories. Manufacturers and exporters selling into more than one market. Clinics and services whose patients speak a first language that is not English.

If you already have a video that works, this is the cheapest way to make it work for everyone else. You are not paying to make the video again, you are paying to make it land.

FAQ

Video translation questions.

No. Subtitles leave the original voiceover in place and ask the viewer to read. We replace the voiceover in the target language, re-time the picture to fit it, keep the music bed, and then add captions on top if you want them. You get a captioned version and a clean version of every language.
We have delivered Arabic, Bengali, Farsi, Pashto, Spanish, Tamil and Urdu on one job. We will not promise a blanket list, because voice quality varies a lot by language. On Farsi and Pashto we recommended a human voice rather than a synthetic one, and we will tell you that up front rather than after you have paid.
Every translation we deliver is a draft until a native speaker has reviewed it. That is written into how we quote. The machine does the heavy lifting and gets it 95 percent of the way in hours instead of weeks, but a human signs it off before it goes anywhere public. If you have a native speaker in your organisation, brilliant. If not, we will arrange one.
The first full pass on the Barnet job, 2 videos into 7 languages, was done in a day. Realistically, budget a week for a small set including the native-speaker review, longer if you want human voice on any language.
Per language: a finished video with captions burned in, a clean version without captions, the voiceover audio, and the subtitle file. Delivered in a folder structure you can hand straight to a platform or an editor.
Yes, on request and as standard in anything we publish about the work. We use AI for transcription, translation drafting and voice. A named editor and a human reviewer sign off every version. We will never tell you a machine did it all, and we will never tell your audience a human did.
