Why 3D

3D product animation for
what a camera can’t reach.

3D product animation shows how your product is built, how it connects and how it works, from any angle. It suits kit that is huge, hidden or still being designed.

We’re a video agency in Braintree, Essex. One 3D video works for a buyer, an installer and a trade show crowd alike.

Product animation

your product in full detail.

We build the model from your drawings, datasheets and photos, then animate it so viewers see every panel, port and part.

Labels and callouts point out what matters, so a buyer understands the product quickly.

Kit and equipment

Explain how it
connects.

Complex kit needs a clear picture of how it fits together. We animate connections, flows and set up steps, so installers get it right first time.

Each step is shown in order, so nothing is left to guesswork on site.

  • Connection and installation steps
  • Water, power and data flows
  • Cutaways of what’s inside
  • Training and how to use

Storyboard first

See every shot
before we build.

We storyboard every shot and agree the style before any modelling starts.

You see the plan, the callouts and the pacing first, so there are no surprises at render.

  • Storyboard of every shot
  • Style frames to approve
  • Callout wording agreed early
  • Comments on the video itself

Real and 3D together

Shot detail meets
animation.

The strongest product videos mix both. We shoot the real kit, then animate the parts a camera can’t show.

Where it helps, we match the lighting and colour of the 3D to your photography.

  • Product photography to match
  • Looping versions for stand screens
  • Website hero loops
  • Cut downs for social media

Questions

Before you book.

The things people ask us first.

What is 3D product animation?

It’s a video made from a 3D model of your product, so viewers can see it from any angle, inside and out. It’s used for equipment, machinery and anything hard to shoot.

How much does 3D animation cost?

Projects start from £750. You get a fixed quote before we start, based on length and how much 3D modelling is needed.

Do you need our CAD files for 3D animation?

Drawings, datasheets and photos are enough to start. CAD files help, and we’ll tell you what we need at the start. If the product is still being designed, we can work from the latest drawings.

When is 3D animation better than shooting?

When the product is too large, hidden inside or not built yet. For kit you can shoot, we often combine both, as in our product demo videos.

How long does a 3D animation take?

It depends on the length, how many products are modelled and how many shots it needs. We agree the schedule with you before we start.

Can 3D animation be used for training videos?

Yes. We animate set up and connection steps for installers and engineers, as in our product training videos. For flat graphics, see motion graphics.
