1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. "Similar technologies" (such as pixels and local storage) work in much the same way. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, and let us — and our partners — understand how the site is used and measure our advertising.
2. You're in control
When you first visit, we show a banner asking whether you accept non-essential cookies. Accepting and rejecting are equally easy — nothing non-essential runs until you choose "Accept all". We use Google Consent Mode, which means analytics and advertising tags stay switched off (or run without cookies) until you consent.
You can change your mind at any time:
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of interest-based advertising at youronlinechoices.com. If you block cookies, some parts of the site may not work as intended.
3. The cookies and tools we use
Essential items (remembering your consent choice, and keeping the site secure) don't require consent. Everything below runs only with your consent:
| Tool | Provider | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Consent preference | The Sequence (this site) | Remembers your cookie choice | Essential |
| Google Analytics 4 | Measures how the site is used so we can improve it | Analytics | |
| Google Ads | Measures ad performance and builds remarketing audiences | Advertising | |
| Meta Pixel & Conversions API | Meta | Measures our Facebook/Instagram advertising and builds audiences | Advertising |
| Microsoft Clarity | Microsoft | Aggregated heatmaps and session analytics to improve usability | Analytics |
These third parties set their own cookies and act as independent controllers or our processors, as the case may be. You can read more in their own policies — for example Google (policies.google.com), Meta (facebook.com/policies/cookies) and Microsoft (privacy.microsoft.com).
4. How this links to your data
The data collected through these cookies is covered by our Privacy Policy, which explains your rights and how to contact us.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the tools we use change. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date above.
