The biggest trap for anyone starting out with video content is this: they spend time and money making videos, but nobody sees them. Creating video is essential — it gives you confidence in your brand, clarity on your message, and the consistency to show up. But when you’re just starting out, you probably don’t have much reach: no audience, no traffic. And that means even the best videos can fall flat.
Pair content with visibility
The smart move is to pair your content with visibility. That might mean running ads behind your videos so the right people actually see them. The content builds trust; the ads buy attention. You need both.
Don’t make content nobody watches
So don’t fall into that beginner’s trap of creating content nobody watches. Make videos that build confidence, and make sure there’s a plan to get them seen.
